My son and I have taken on a project of restoring a 68 Cadillac hearse pickup custom that I drove working for my father.  body is in good shape but need to replace carpet in the drivers compartment.  If you have any suggestions please inform me thank you  Enthused Cadi owner.

Hi

There is one company I know of that has good quality. Although I have not yet ordered anything from them, since my carpet is still ok.
But when I will, this will be the place to start.

All these years I've been told ACC is the major supplier for all resellers. Granted, there are different grades and styles, but maybe someone else can chime in with a better, smaller company reproducing quality carpets. HTH, Jeff

Is the car a standard body car, or a Commercial Chassis. A standard body car will take the standard body carpet, but a Commercial Chassis has been widened, and will need a custom fit carpet from an upholstery shop.  I don't know of anyone producing carpet sets for a CC.

Hello Imorrow

Welcome to the Cadillac & LaSalle Club Forum

Interesting question.  You have received good replies from experienced people.  I would suggest:
(1) Becoming a member of the CLC national organization and a region near your residence
(2) Becoming a member of the Professional Car Society
(3) Assess your vehicle to determine if it is modified or an original commercial chassis
All good men own a Cadillac but great gentlemen drive a LaSalle. That is the consequence of success.

CRPII makes good points. There are 'tons' of hearse sites out there with guy eager to help. Best of luck, Jeff
