I've searched and couldn't find a topic for my problem.  I have the dash pad off for recovering, the windshield out for replacement and while I'm at it (sound familiar?) I want to repair/replace the speedometer and test/repair the rest of the gauges.  Does anyone have a referral for this type of work?  I know there are some really high end guys (Classic Instruments) but I don't want to convert gauges/sending units.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Check with these people at  http://clocksandgauges.com/
They did all of the instruments on my '35 Cadillac.  They are very good at what they do and I was most pleased with their service.
There is a fine line between "Hobby" and "Mental Illness".  Dave Barry.   I walk that line.

Thank you for the referral.  I have contacted them and am sending my instrument cluster & clock to them.  I will report back on results.

I have used RS Gage here in Phoenix for my 47 speedometer as well as all my gages from my 71 Olds 442. He is a one man operation and is good.   Bill
