1938 Cadillac/LaSalle Coupe Door Stainless Moldings

I am in need of both stainless steel belt moldings for the doors of my 1938 LaSalle.  I believe the molding are interchangeable for both Cadillacs and LaSalles for '37 as well as '38 and maybe even other years.  Any leads on the molding clips would be helpful as well.  I checked all the restoration companies and have yet to find the correct clips.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks, Richard Gottshall CLC 10430

I have the mouldings for a 38 LaSalle trunk sides. Can they be modified to fit the shorter length for the doors?

Hello Richard... Have you tried Pat Comeskey in Utica, NY at (315) 724-9616 ? He usually has most '38 LaSalle trim parts available  . If not , give me the length you need and I might be able to make them out of hood trim ? BB
