1950 Series 62 Flasher unit wiring

I am also in need of some clarification on the wiring for the flasher unit. I have the wiring diagram but it isn't exactly clear. The flasher show the following lettering for each prong.

Can anyone clarify what each one is and where it is connected? I am assuming the p=power and l=load but not sure.

Bill, do you know where I can get the brass/metal connectors that go inside the plastic unit for the flasher, I would like to rewire it.
