Watched a Film Noire' movie this evening on TCM. Criss Cross with Burt Lancaster and my favorite slimy bad guy, Dan Dureya. It had a nice shot of a 1948 Continental convertible, (Don't look at the Lincoln, but there was someone loading the trunk of a 1941 Cadillac nearby in the same shot.)  During the holdup section, they used a huge 1940 Cadillac Series 75 limousine as well. Lots of 1940s cars in background shots during the movie.

I saw a movie on late night TV recently where John Wayne drove a 1940 Lasalle 52 series convertible coupe. The title was "A man Betrayed" made in 1941.

Tom, I think I can trump your car. Tonight, on TCM, I saw in Father Takes a Bride, a 1934-37 V-16 Town car near the end of the movie.
