It only took 13 days but the grille and headlight assemblies, after being completely torn down, cleanef, painted and polished, is finally back on the car after being off for six years.

So this week I rebuilt, installed, and aligned the front bumper. All six pieces were plated in 2014. Every single nut, bolt and washer went through the tumbler and then blast cabinet. Fog lights were disassembled, cleaned, tested and polished. I was determined not to have the typical "upswing" on the ends by the wheel well. The solution proved to be the 6 bolts at the license plate mount and where the large end meets the lower bar. Loosen them and twist forward. When I did the "finger test" (inserting fingers between headlights and fender brows I found the R side too wide. The solution was to loosen the 3 3/8 nuts from inside the r wheel well and then lift up on the R headlight assembly. Today I will install the cross rods that only are on conv. and Fleetwood. (Others use bumpers like hood bumpers but mounted to a bracket that hangs down from headlight mount plate.) I am looking for NOS or repro fog light lenses. McVeigh won't sell them any more due to warpage issues. OPGI says "coming soon." Any leads?
