Hello,

I can't find my Delco Remy booklet and I need to know what is the correct Delco  Remy voltage regulator for a 55 sedan with A/C.

Model numbers, the D#  and or digit #

Any help would be great
Thank you

According to my 1955 Master Parts List, all '55s use a 30 amp voltage regulator with part number 111 8825.

111 8825 was the 30 amp regulator used on all 1953-55s.

Later (1966 MPL), the 30 amp 1956 regulator (111 9003) was used as a replacement on all 1953-56s.

Thanks jay and Philippe,

I remember reading that there were two different ones.
One used in A/C cars and one for non A/C cars?   Is that correct?

Thanks

Exact from 1957 on Series 75 and Commercial chassis (40-amp generator instead of the standard 35-amp), and 1958-62 on other models (45 amp generator).

Later models (w/ alternator) used the same regulator whatever the alternator amperage. Different regulators were again used in the 1970s.
