Can someone describe the EFE valve for my car? is it the flapper on the manifold to the exhause on the passenger side or something else?
part number we think is 5233158 Smog station seems to think I need one, but if it is the flapper, it is there.  Thanks

Bob, It sounds like you're in Kalifornia!! I assume you have a shop manual for your car?? Copy all the smog control pages & make sure you verify that ALL components are present. Give that to the technician.  Find another smog station that does older cars.
