HELLO ! I would like to add this radio foot control to my 69 limo

Q where is it mounted exactly ?

Q. does it plug into the radio as in the attached picture ?

thanks , Murray

Scot Minesinger

I have this option on my 1970 Cadillac and the car is apart, so I will find out for you, what is your schedule?  Can it wait until Sunday?

It should plug into the rear of the radio.  If your limo has a rear seat radio control, that port may already be utilized for the rear seat switch.  Not sure you could have both.

hello Scot , not in a hurry , doing a resto - so many months to go !

I have found the port on the back of the radio - so don't worry about that !

but I would like to know exactly where to mount the foot control on the floor

thankyou , Murray

When I had my carpet out, I recall there being a 2nd hole (with a welded nut) where the switch would attach to the floorboard.  IIRC, it was a little to the right of the dimmer switch.  Pull your carpet back and have a look.

My recollection was from 2 years ago, I could be wrong.  In other words, don't trust what I say to be correct, but do tell us what you find.

hello Chrisntam, I did have a look please see pics attached

It seems to suit the curvature of the floor further up and to the right of the dimmer switch , next to the handbrake cable

Please confirm , thankyou , Murray

That's the correct area for the foot radio control. I never had one in any of my older cars.
