It is hard for me to get past a car when false advertising jumps out very 1st thing:
"Of 1,870 produced, only 100 with A/C and bucket seats."
Bucket seats were a no cost option for Eldorado's and it is my understanding over 1/2 produced came with bucket seats. In fact you usually see them with bucket seats. AC was also a high % option especially on the 1964 Fleetwood Eldorado's.

Thanks Jason, what you say makes sense, I would actually prefer a bench front seat, looking for a family driver......

If you are looking for a family driver and fun convertible you might want to look at regular 64 convertibles. The Eldo’s are probably twice the cost. They are rare, beautiful, and worth it but you could save a lot of you consider a Deville conver.

Hi Brian, point taken.  I do like all the bells and whistles that the Eldo has with the exception of the optional buckets.  I've never bought a car at auction and was hoping somebody knows of this car before I waste my time registering to bid.  Fortunately, I live in Reno and will be able to view it in person.  I'm not looking for a show car, just a clean driver.....

Since you asked beyond that the white walls are wrong the only interior shot shows a Wreath and crest where it is not supposed to be. Good luck

It’s best to stay away from auctions. We have heard many horror stories here on the message board about what you actually get.

There are lots of Cadillacs on eBay. Go for one that’s within driving distance and see, feel, smell, listen, and drive it before buying or bidding.

Better yet look for one in your monthly Self Starter and buy from a CLC member.

the seats are supposed to have perforated leather in the seating areas, and this appears to have been done over in smooth leather; as Jason stated, if someone makes up production figures like what was stated with this car, you have to doubt everything else about it

Assuming it is leather.

For what it's worth, I owned a two year old standard 64 covertible when it was 2 years old.  I've owned 6 different Cad's over the years and the 64 stands out as the best and most enjoyable. But make sure you listen to the guys who have better knowledge of this one as nice as it appears.
