While looking for something on the net tonight I stumbled
across a site that provides info on decoding VIN plates on
Cadillacs from 1960-1975.  I'm sure this info will be
interesting for those trying to do this!

Jep, new that page since a long time. I even supplied my data plate to them for reference. (about 6 years ago)
I would think that your club should have all the information available to the members, but that is apparently not the case..
