Hi, Robert. Are you a CLC member? There are only a VERY few European members here on the forums. That is where the International Directory comes in handy. There are a number of flathead Cadillac owners in Europe who may have leads. I would think that by 1947 Cadillacs were being imported into Europe. Where are you?   - Carl

Hi Carl,

At the moment I am only a member of the forum and the Danish Cadillac club

I am placed in Denmark

Robert, what is the Danish Cadillac club ? How many members ? How many Cadillacs ? There is a gentleman named Ole Steen who owns a 1946 in Denmark. Is he in the Danish Cadillac club ? There is a 1947 in Norway. CLC has over 200 members, maybe around 220, in Europe. 14 in Denmark. I hope I can convince you and Kim Rasmussen to bring that up to 16. You have very little to lose , and much to gain.

Tell us more about your Cadillac. What in particular are you looking for ? The more information we have, the more we can help you. Our International Directory will be of continuing use to you.   Denmark is my favorite country. I believe it is the most advanced country in the world. It must be doing many things right. We hear Danes are the happiest nationality.  😊🤪😂😄😎❤️  -  Cadillac Carl

Hi Carl,
It is the same Club that Ole is a member of.

Will for shure join CLC

The car i am restoring is bougth in boxes an I can see that a lot of parts are missing, that why it would be nice to have a parts car. At the moment i need a complete rearaxle including brakes, dampers, and antiroolbar.

I have most of the rear axle parts. My master parts book lists it for 1941 through 46 but my book stops at 46, not sure if it fits 47?  I may have rear shocks but they would need rebuilding. Might have a Panhard bar around, can't be sure. This stuff is in the UK.
