Too much fun is more than you can have.

There comes a point when you have to disregard so-called "Guide" books and other pricing resources when it comes to the very best examples of original preservation.

Cars in this state of condition are extremely rare and can easily bring double the value of their restored counterparts, or even more.  This is particularly true for convertibles which are relatively rare to begin with, plus the fact that very few of those managed to survive in high grade condition without significant amounts of cosmetic repairs and restoration.

I've said it many times - you cannot pay too much for the right car.
