Hello,

Does anyone know what differentials from which years are compatible with 1959?

I have a Coupe DeVille, and I know there are some minor differences between gear ratios between different bodystyles. But which rears can be installed and to use with -59 housing/axles?

For example I have offer for -61 rear, but I don’t have a clue does it work/fit?

According to the parts book, the differential is the same for 1959 to 1962.  A/C cars had a 3.21:1 ratio; non A/C cars had a 2.94:1 ratio.
