A friend just wrote me that he bought this 78 d'elegance this morning.

As of 4:16pm today, the car is still for sale on ebay with a  bid of $6100.  Maybe that great reseller/broker just hasn't gotten around to canceling the auction.

Just asked him when he's picking up the car and he replied it isn't a deal yet.   Got "buying and bought" mixed up I guess.

This car if it goes for under 8,000 is a STEAL!!!! Take all those $5000 specials with 88,500 miles and whatever and forget about them. This car will drive like a new car. Plus you likely will put less into it than the higher mileage car.
