This can be of interest for those that access the forums from a mobile device as dark screens use less battery power. But we need to know whether enough people want this before investing the time to install an extra mode.

Question for the gurus . . . I thought I had taken enough reference photos, but apparently not.  I've got a mystery wire loom bracket that I bolted next to the #8 runner -- but it's lonely and useless over there.  I'm wondering where it is supposed to go?

The similar piece next to the #7 runner is gainfully employed.

Any ideas?  Here's a shot of the current engine state:

Doesn't the harness/loom with the coil power, trans kickdown, and water temp sensor wires run down that side?

No.  You'll notice the "T" in the loom by the PCV valve.  The wires you mentioned T-off from there and go across the manifold to the driver's side.

I've been scouring 1974 engine pictures.  Nothing definitive so far.
