Hello

I have problem DVLA asked me for Manufacturer/ factory record for my Cadillac de Ville 1955.

I dont have any documents and I am wondering if there is any possibility to proof chassis number of the vehicle against the month and year of production.  Should I try to contact Cadillac direct to see if they hold any record of cars from 1955?

If anyone can point me in the right direction will be huge help.

Mirek,

The only record that was available from GM would be the AMA you can download the specs with other details from the GM Heritage site.

Order the build record for your car.  $50, they can email it to you, and that will show a production date.
