I am looking for a top latch for a 1976 Eldorado. I broke the driver side and bent the passenger side while putting the top down - Yes, now I know you are suppose to have the latch OPEN when lowering the top.

If you have a driver or both driver and passenger please let me know. Must be in very good to excellent condition.

Thank you!

This is more common the left than right. The ones I had flew out the door. Know these are the same for all full size GM conv 71-76. Now reproduced, which means - one company makes them, everyone else resells them, so shop price. ebay is good for this. Best of luck. Jeff

Bruce -

Thank you!

I actually have been bugging Hydro-E for more than a month now, and they are out of stock for the USA made version. They were hoping for mid - sept, but as of Friday - no luck yet.

I will keep bugging them, but hoping to stumble on someone that has a pair here. We are still doing the wild fires here in California - so top down driving is not only harmful to your lungs, but messy when the interior fills with ash.

Thank you,

Alex

I have some spares here, but I am pretty sure that you will find some closer.

One of the problems with finding that supplies are not available is that they were made in China, and people simply cannot get the parts to fill their orders.

Folks

I wanted to let you know that I was able to get a serviceable used set from Brian Faull. They arrived today.

Can I mention that Brian was excellent with his communications, dozens of photos and the best shipping I have ever seen on a private transaction. Each latch was heat sealed in strong plastic, boxed and then over boxed with foam packing. WOW!

I can only hope to deal with Brian again and recommend him fully.

Thank you
