I have a 1965 Eldorado convertible with bucket seats and console for sale. I am asking $2,600.00 /bo. It could be a big project or a great parts car. It is red with a red interior and white top. The front seats are surprisingly good looking and appear to have been recovered. Someone backed up with the drivers door open at some point, hence the damage. It appears to be reasonably solid but definitely needs floor work, and has rust in the trunk. It could be restored or would be an excellent parts car. I do not have a title so it will be sold with a bill of sale only. I can get a title for an additional charge if needed. I have not checked anything on the car mechanically, so assume it needs everything. The motor turns over by hand. The car is located in Pittsburgh Pa. If you are interested and have any questions or want more pictures, please feel free to call or email. Thanks Brian. 412  952 6027.  cadillac32v@hotmail.com

Brian. I believe I remember you having this car for sale on the forum last year.  Is there really no one doing restorations?   I would place an ad in the SS.

brian faull clc#25881

Yes, I may do that. Thanks for the suggestion.

Brian,
I love the 65 over the 66, and maybe because my Dad had one.

I have had my share of working with sheet metal and replacing rusted out panels, but I just don't have the hydraulics or body table to fix this car - and the damage couldn't have been in a harder place to fix - otherwise, I would be all over this car.

Have you thought to put an ad in Craig's List or the Lay-It-Low Club, like our group here but much younger and into modifications.
Good luck in your efforts.

Have fun,
Steve B.

I may try that. I didn't want to part it out, because I thought someone might want to fix it. Luckily the door and fender are not too hard to get, since they are the same as the Deville. Just different trim holes. Thanks, Brian.

Too much fun is more than you can have.

Bob, I've looked into getting a title and I can get one. I just do not want to spend the money on a title unless someone is buying it to fix and needs a title. I have too much other stuff going on to get it running and driving. Hopefully someone else may want to do that. Thanks, Brian.

Brian,

Exactly how bad is the damage (not an expert or a beginner) and do you know what is involved with the repair?
Recommend that you list your Fleetwood Eldorado on eBay, as someone surely "must have it," "really want it," or just plain damn needs it as a parts car.
In this regard, please post a picture of your Fleetwood Eldorado's body tag.

Given a Fleetwood Eldorado's rarity, that alone should be a good selling point.

Question: On a 1963 through 1970 Fleetwood Eldorado with optional "bucket seats," was a passenger power bucket seat available as an option?

Best regards and Good Luck!

My '65 Eldorado has a power passenger seat. It is 4 way rather than 6 way. I'm never checked to see whether 6 way was an option.
This one really doesn't look that bad to me, depending on how rusty the floors are. Mine looked way worse than than having about 10 pounds of body filler in the passenger door, when I bought it out of Wisconsin in 1985, and has made a pretty good driver since.  If it were closer, I wouldn't mind having two.

Nice pics Glenn!

I will second that on the bucket seats, as I have buckets in my '65 with power passenger 4-way.   Chuck

Thank you for responses.

If memory serves me, a four-way power seat was the only available power seat offered with the optional bucket seats.

However, I have never seen any option code / price for the passenger side power bucket seat.

Within the last two years, I believe someone posted a picture of dual heated power bucket seats on a 67 Fleetwood Eldorado.

Matt, It will need the drivers front door and fender repaired or replaced due to the damage from someone backing them into something. It will also need floor and trunk work. All the mechanicals will need gone through, new top, etc. It is re-storable, if someone wants to put the time in, but would be a project. Next time I am near the car, I will get a picture of the data tag. Thanks, Brian.

Brian,

Forgot about this little diamond until this new post.
Did you figure out if the "A pillar is bent, the cowl, the floor, windshield, and dash structure.
The fender & door are almost plug & play if the structure is in good shape - bolt ons.
And what is the cost of getting it titled - can't be as bad as in our pit called CAlif.
If you want to take this off line, send me an email.

Have fun,
Steve B.
