1958 CDV door edge ss trim

Anyone have a set of ss door edge guards (decent usable/restorable? Are any GM sister models' doors similar in contour/style ? Any one have a source for straight ss edging "stock " to form to fit ? As an temporary alternative, I tried some plastic edging. FAIL !!! Coil of unusable junk for $10. I have ordered a set off e bay of 58 chevy nos 2 door wagon strips. $ 40 we shall see !! Im sure someone is re popping for other cars, so raw  stock should be available somewhere

I wouldn't bet on it. While repro trim parts are often commonly available for more voluminous cars such as Chevrolet, Ford etc but comparatively few are made for Cadillacs since they were built in much lower quantity.

Probably some are out there but finding a good pair (esp driver's side) might take some time. Best bet is to post in the "Wanted to Buy" subsection of this forum and elsewhere such as Cadillac groups on Facebook. Good luck.
