A friend of mine has a nice 1961 Series 62 with the Fontana Ross exterior and rose leather interior.  His leather is in good shape but its faded in spots.  Is there a supplier that sells the correct dye kit for his car?

Try talking to Leatherique (leatherique.com). They do a great job matching colors if you can send a sample, and if someone has already requested that color, they might already have it.

Was just about to post more or less the same thing, here it is ---

You might talk to the folks at Leatherique about dying/rejuvenating his seats --- http://www.leatherique.com
Leatherique is recommended by the Rolls Royce Owners Club to their members.

Simple fading may be able to be corrected with SEM interior dyes. Application with an air brush or low pressure jamb gun would be perfect and you could blend it right in with the existing color. They make exceptional dyes that don't come off on your clothes. I did the entire interior except for the headliner of my '59 SDV with their products.

I recently ordered some leather dye from SeatDoctors to refinished a worned steering wheel leather, for a non-Cadillac vehicle.  It was a perfect match.  I applied it with a sponge.  It looked uneven with bubbles but it sat for 5 minutes snd the bubbles went away and the texture became smooth.  I applied two coats and it looks like a new steering wheel now.

The company can match the color of your car by the VIN for modern cars or if you send them a sample, they can do a custom match.

I bought a 4oz bottle for $25.  I think I have 95% of the bottle left after this little project.

Very happy with the results and no need to invest in a paint gun.

Tim, I also used the SEM system to refresh my 60 coupe with Persian Sand interior. The door panels and rear armrests were in pretty good shape, but I was having the seats upholstered in the correct materials. I took a piece of the Vinyl to my local auto paint supplier and they matched the SEM product exactly followed their instructions and it all came out great.
