Is a 1949 rear bumper for a series 62 the same as 1948. I could use a better bumper for my 49 CDV and found a nice 48.

According to my copy of the Master Parts Book (eff. July 15, 1949), yes, it will.

All 60S, 61, and 62 rear bumpers interchange with each other in 1948 and 1949.
