Those fuel door pivot made of plastic that i can found on ebay are very easy to break..

Anybody know if there is any pivot more stronger made of metal or anything that i can put there to replace my plastic pivot that is broken?

When did Cadillac use any plastic parts on or near the filler doors on 1962 Cadillacs?

the only pivot i can found on internet are made of plastic, this is why i ask here, maybe someone know where i can find stronger pivot made of metal..
