I am putting the front end together on the 29. When pulling off the dust covers I came across the locking studs. One of them was a real bitch to get out, it was so tight the end against the brake drum was mushroomed over! Why did they put a stud and not a bolt and lock nut? Any words of wisdom dealing with the kingpins?
