Hello!  Does anyone out there have any information regarding what the shop manual for 59-60 cars refers to as the rear engine mount pads?  They apparently affix to the cross member that goes directly underneath the bell housing.  There are two round bosses on either side of the bell housing and two holes in the cross member.  I've not been able to find any mention of these on-line or in the Steele catalogue.  Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Ken, this wording from the parts book or shop manual is misleading. The third engine mount is the one under the transmission!

Roger,
Thanks for the reply.  I hope that all is well with you.  It just seems odd that there are two holes in the forward cross member that basically align with the two, round bosses on the bell housing, but maybe GM engineers decided they didn't need a middle mount.
Take care,
Ken

Thanks, everything OK (more or less...)!The bell housing has the same design than the 1956 one. The round bosses were the attaching point for the transmission cooler.
I'm attaching a view from a '56 transmission.
