As a new club member and new owner of a 1930 Convertible coupe 353 I need to repair the throttle lever at the steering wheel. It moves freely but appears to be not connected to the linkage at thee bottom of the steering wheel.
How do I remove the steering wheel to access the lever? Are there any publications that show how to repair tis issue?
Any help would be greatly appreciatted.

You need to start at the bottom of the steering box and remove the electric switch for the lights. Most likely the spider has broken that the controls from the top turn. Wayne Ellsworth I think has the new ones made out of brass. He is real good with 30 and 31 stuff.
