How or who restores these door dovetails? The spring loaded rubber "catches" are pretty shot and the housing appears to be a sealed unit. Ive done some early Ford door pieces that function similarly but the rubbers are 1.readily available 2.easily replaced. Thanks for the guidance.

My 1940 Lasalle has similar parts. I soaked mine in Evapo-rust to dissolve the rust and free up the springs inside. It worked good enough to reuse them. Not great. I have never heard of a service that restores those. I did not take it apart because I don't know how to rivet it back together.
