This spring has lost its tension and some one has to hold the release out to open the hood or use the seat belt to hold the release out. While I'm sure not the first with this issue no online presence seems to have this available. Perhaps using a rubber biscuit would help but would really  like to find a new replacement from whatever source., there must be compatible replacements out there. Thanks, A. Hollenbeak
