If anyone is interested in the green 49 convertible for sale here in GA, I could look at it for them for a modest fee.  In addition to my general knowledge of 49-and-up Cadillacs from having had 24 of them, over several years I "unscrewed up" a prior restoration of a 49 convertible for a buddy in Brooklyn.  It came out great.  (The plastic film on the front of the hood in the last picture was to protect the new paint work we did as he drove the car from my workshop in Marietta, GA to Brooklyn, NY).

I am fairly familiar with 49 convertibles.
