1960s New springs - 1960

Does anyone have a source for new correct springs for a 1960 Cadillac?

I am concerned that some of the new springs elevate the ride height to terrible looking, and I assume terrible riding height.  See below.  I do not want this result:

Eaton springs.  They come in stock sizes and then lower springs if desired.  I need to do the same to the 59 since her back end is sticking up high.

Be careful with factory pictures. They are sometimes modified to please people, but for practical reasons, I would like to have more clearance than the factory picture you are showing.

I ordered mine for 61 from Coil Spring Specialties. They need all the vehicle information to create the correct spring. If you check in the book for 61 you will see that they used 3 or 4 different spring rates across the models. Most people who sell these off the shelf only have the HD spring rate.

I replaced the rear springs in my Eldorado. It took about 6 months for them to 'settle in'. When it was first done, it looked like a jacked up car from the early 70's. Now it's nice and even.

Yes, I think about a half inch/ 15 mm higher would be better in the factory photo - especially in the rear. But the fist car in this post looks very incorrect. 

I am hoping to find someone who has done this and arrived an at "stock height."

Heres how the 59 sits.  The rear is correct but the front still sits on her original springs.  Once replaced it should be more level.

Is it the look or the ride you don't like. As far as looks, I'm only a few thousand miles away, bring it to my garage. 

When/if you do replace the front springs, watch your front end travel extremes. You don't want to rip a shock apart on a good upswing.

To my eye, this is the correct height (Big Fins'car).  The plane of the bottom of the skirt passes through the center of the hub cap, obscuring half the crest.  In the 60 coupe in the first post, you can see the entire crest of the wheel cover.

Well, there is no ALL! There are different front springs for standard models with and without air conditioning and different springs at all four corners for a Series 75, again, with and without air conditioning.

Right.  That is the reason for the post.  Is there someone who has ordered from a vendor had the their car sprung at the correct height?

Eaton springs has different front springs: with and without AC, but the rear springs are "heavy duty" which I am afraid will give me too tall of a rear end on a non series 75 car.

I ordered direct from Moog. They had differing numbers for convertibles and coupe's.
