The 4 speed turbo hydramatic transmission in my 1961 Series 62 is leaking like crazy. Hoping to find someone near Austin, Tx who specializes in these transmissions.

This is who did mine. He was in Michigan, now in North Carolina.

So unfortunately not local. But great guy and great work.

Any idea where it is leaking from? Front? Back? Only when running?

Maybe it just needs to be resealed if it shifts okay.  How big a leak is it?

leaking from the front, only when running.

Most probably, the seal at the flywheel housing is leaking. To replace it, the transmission must be removed. If the seal is not looking bad after removing the flywheel housing, let check if the fluid coupling is leak free. I had an horror story with a transmission leaking badly: the weld at the torus cover assembly's neck was bad.
In the 1959 shop manual, there is a description how to check it. I unfortunatlely don't know if the '61 manual is also showing it.
