While checking the level today I've notice the front is a bit lower than the rear end (just by eye balling) from a few feet's away.

Just for curiosity I try to measure the front at the fender-well (center of the tire) and both left and right are within 1" (right 22", left 21").

I start digging around my folders for any document that will show any measurements and after searching several ones I was able to find the AMA specs these are part of the Specification Manual which are included in the 1956 Cadillac Data Book.

The Body- High Dimension page do shows the measurements I was looking for "however" I found a head scratching on the results line versus the drawing for these. The line items shows H102 (yellow highlighted) to be Front bumper bottom to ground while H128 (blue highlighted) ground to bottom of bumper guard with the drawing showing the locations for these measurements.

What trigger my "red warning light" is the measurements are incorrect at these locations when I take them in my case. In my case H102 is about 15" on both corners, while H128 is about 8" again on both corners.

Not sure if anyone else have notice these (errors ???) on their side with a copy of the specific AMA records for other years, any way for those with a 1956 here you go.   ;)
