1964 Cadillac DeVille convertible! Runs and drives perfectly! Factory correct 429 c.i. engine runs great and transmissions shifts as it should! Factory A/C car, converted to R12 freon, A/C works but needs to be charged. Carb was recently rebuilt so it starts quickly, idles and accelerates smoothly. It also has all new belts.

The Good:
Interior was professionally restored and is beautiful! Somewhat rare front bucket seats are gorgeous and really pop with the black buttons! Everything came out including the entire dash. The dash components were repainted, heater core replaced and all re-installed. All seats were recovered with proper time period material. All interior switches and lights are functional. All power window and seats work as they should. New carpet and padding installed. Convertible top was also replaced and functions as it should.
After market stereo with time period correct face. Bluetooth ready head unit, aftermarket speakers hidden behind the recovered door panels, new speakers in the front stock location under the dash and the rear stock location in the seat. There is also a 8" sub and amp in the trunk.
The floors are all solid in this car including the trunk, no rust!
The not so good:
There is a small oil leak. I believe it is the rear main seal on the pan but not confirmed. It is very slow / small but leaves drips. Also seems like the P/S pump might have a small leak as it seems just a bit messy. Neither are a real issue but if you want it perfect this would need to be addressed.
Rust:
The structure of this car is great! Frame and floors are in great shape! The only rust I'm aware of is a handful of paint chips where the bare metal has been exposed on the hood and doors. All of them very small areas. The deck lid by the rear vertical edge at the drip rail / molding is the worst part on the car. This will need some attention asap but should be an easy fix.
The engine has an exhaust leak and as I understand it the passenger side exhaust manifold notoriously cracks. I believe that is the case here. It is noticeable when cold but almost goes away once it gets hot and the metal expands. I just turn up the stereo and drive it ;-).
The car was originally a light sky blue in color. Originally sold in California then purchased by a surgeon in New Jersey. At some point it was painted this midnight blue. It looks great in pictures or at a short distance but if you truly want it to be beautiful up close it will need to be repainted. A perfect driver though and park it anywhere.

It's far from perfect but perfectly fine! We have not restored the body because we use it as a driver while in FL. and have driven it everywhere! I'm a car guy and have owned plenty but I have NEVER owned a car that commands as much attention as this one! People young and old alike literally wave and yell how much they love it every time we take it out! It's a fun car and a great driver! We are selling it because we just don't use it enough, maybe 3 or 4 times a year. We have to pay to keep it in storage as we have no garage at our condo. This car deserves a better home and is a great candidate for a complete restoration!
The car is located in Clearwater, FL. Pictures upon request. Odometer reads 90,450

You've got a lot of bubbling on the trunk.  Any other areas of concern?
