Who makes the most accurate rocker panel replacements for a 59-60? So many aftermarket parts are of poor reproduction quality.

The Montreal guy who rides a motorcycle & has a turntable in his garage workshop. He had thousands of patterns.

Unfortunately very low volume if he is even still making repros.

Expensive but high quality. He made a pair of rockers for one of our 59 ambulances. We took a detour on our way to the Lake George GN to pick them up.

It helps if you speak French, we don't.

I tried finding him on the Internet, but no results. I'll look to see if I have his name on the receipt.

I have never dealt with them, but seems to be nice quality.
Expensive though....

I swear the 4 door passenger rocker panel I bought listed for 61 is actually a 1960.

I had never seen a 4 door rocker available for 61. But I bought it from the same supplier I got a very accurate 2 door panel from.

The profiles are not the same at all. Where the 2 door version had a hard crease down the side the 4 door version was rounded. I can only assume it was 1960 and someone thouggt they were the same. I ended up just cutting sections I needed out of the 2 door panel.

This is the guy I mentioned:

Looks like he is working out of a commercial building now so perhaps he has increased his production with assistance of employees.

I needed to repair a rocker panel section on my 57 and at the time could only find them as a pair on ebay from "classicparts4u". Beware of this seller, the panels I got were no where near correct. I had to cut one of them down and after a lot of bending and everything else, I was finally able to get it to work but it was definitely not ready to go out of the box. Their negative feedback shows I'm not the only one.

Thanks everyone. That's the info I needed. Many eBay sellers are selling the same parts from a single source. The expensive ones look great. And honestly less than being frustrated with poor fit and the work involved to make it right.
