Sorry, but it is a '72.   No vents in the trunk lid, plus it has the rubber protectors at the end of the tail light bracket.

Than I guess we are both wrong.

I thought the 72 had the vents in the trunk lid? And the little air grabbers on the side behind the doors.

71 & 72 are a couple of years I really never paid much attention to the Eldorados.

From the parts list, I see that only the '71 has the louvers into the trunk. '72 cars had that device no more. The faux air intake on the side is the same part for 71 and 72 Eldo models.
Only the '72 Eldo models have the bumper pad at the rear bumper ends.

There are so many differences between the '71 and '72 which I have found out by buying both a '72, and a rusted out '71 and stripping the '71 for parts to bring home.

But, in doing so, I did help greatly the owner here of a '71 that I could supply with parts, and it is through this that I found out these differences.

The other thing that can be seen in the pictures is the '72 had the vents in the door pillars at the rear of the door to let the outside air out, which were necessary when they removed the trunk vents.   Plus, there were two different number of these trunk vents during the life of the '71.

The interior upholstery is a standout feature.  Tell us the history of this low mileage car.

I like the green color too.  And learned a lot about 71-72 differences.

Things only an owner or a knowledgeable person of these years would know.

It always amuses me when a seller says a car is fully loaded. That term simply got over used, probably started by car salesmen.  It doesn't have leather so is it truly "fully loaded".

In the modern world it's still used to describe a car that has many of the options from 1972 as standard.  Like power windows and AC.
