Ive got a complete set of aluminum side trim off one of my cars. A few pieces have small screw holes. Suggestios to fill the holes? Also, any suggestions I can use on my workbench to remove the dings? Straighten ?

Thanks for any help,

Mark S.

Aluminum and even stainless moldings can sometimes be straightened and fixed by hammering, filing, sanding, and polishing. Holes can be welded or heliarced to fill them. Then file them flat and sand and buff. There can be quite a bit to doing it. Check out a book titled How to Restore Metal Auto Trim, available at http://www.motorbooks.com.
