Anyone know a supplier or where I can get a good tank for a 47?
my tank has some pinholes and a crack as well as some decent sized creases and dings. It doesnt seem worth saving given the amount of work it will take to get it the way I want. I would prefer to replace. Any suggestions on options would be appreciated.

thanks
Craig

Hi Craig- You would be one lucky person if you could find a descent 47 tank still out there. Most of the time what you find is as bad or even worse then your own. I went through this with my 41 and 47, decided to bite the bullet and get the tanks repaired by Gas Tank Renu in CA. Not cheap but both tanks were returned in exellent condition and guaranteed. The 41 tank has been on the car for 5 years and about 5,000 miles, still dry. You might call them. I have two 800 numbers listed, 800-901-8265 and 800-997-3688.
