Hello,
The differential housing of my 53 DeVille Coupe (53-6275DX, Hydramatic) is broken. According to the master part book the assembly for 53-62 cars is part no. 3509331, 3.36 to 1 ratio, stamped 6.
Im being offered an assembly for 56-62 cars with dual carbs, part no. 3510494, 3.36 to 1 ratio, stamped 6.
Are these two assemblies interchangeable?
I dont have a parts interchange manual and would be very grateful if someone could look this up or give any helpful hints.
Thanks!

My interchange says 56 is different. Get a 55 & earlier to be safe. Bob
