I don't think the Broadmoor Hotel ever used 6-door sightseeing limousines from 1947, although they did have a fleet of regular 1947 Series 75 limos.  These are more likely a pair of H&E custom airport limousines.  Check out the story of the Broadmoor sightseeing limousines in the annual Self-Starter issue for 1976, pp. 10-17.

Hi, I bought the black car(blue) from a family in Crested Butte Colorado ,they owned the car over 30 years his father was the mayor at the time and bought it directly from the hotel.Having spoke to a gentleman named Bill Mcnulty at the Broadmoor Carriage House,he stated to me that there were photos of a 47 6 door[ that looked to be light in color as up until this time I had not seen any light blue on the car, upon closer inspection I found the sky blue at the very bottom of the firewall. He (Mcnaulty) refereed me to a Bev Mason V.P. of the Broadmoor to see if I may aquire photos in this regard. Obviously the VP has more important things to attend and I never pursued it further. But now it appears that I will,as I took the story at face value as the car is still on a Colorado title and the location and time frames appeared to be in order .   Thanx  , I will get to the facts.    Tyler                                                                                                                              quote author=veesixteen link=topic=101365.msg112199#msg112199 date=1208526790]
