Not crazy about the color combo and no cruise(!) but otherwise a stellar example of a 1980 Cadillac. Color is Victoria Plum Firemist which was optional at extra cost but I think Bordeaux Red (matching the roof) would have worked much better. Rear fillers have been replaced as most have due to age.

Model year sales of 1980 Cadillacs dropped to 60% of what they had been the year before and 1980s are seldom seen today. Last year for the tried and true cast iron block carbureted Cadillac engine which was significantly more reliable than the model years that immediately followed. Mileage this low is rare on any Cadillac of the decade but on 1980 it's almost unheard of. Sedan body style in the least expensive DeVille series will limit the car's desirability somewhat but when is the next time you'll ever see another?

Nice car!!! If I had space and money I would loved to add it the driveway with my 79 Fleetwood.

Definitely an ordered car.    I can see some people not needing cruise control if they live somewhere far from the interstate highways.     But I would have ordered the dual comfort seats.

It appears to me, from the pictures in the listing that the left front fender is a completely different color than the rest of the body.

Completely normal for these cars with original paint. The mismatch was due to the front end body parts being painted separately from the rest of the body before final assembly. Usually most prominent on medium to light metallic colors.

With the advent of international  internet sales, such wonderful Cadillacs are no longer consigned to a local used car lot and sold at a highly discounted "old car" price--- they happily are purchased by appreciative folks who will pay a premium price for a rare survivor.   Would be interesting to know the history of this car, as well as, some of the mechanical challenges the new owner will have to face to get this one going.   The very good news is that it's a highly durable model year for Cadillac. Thanks for posting.   James
