Always wonderful to see how vehicles are actually built and which parts go together first.

I WAS TOLD TO JUST SUPERCHARGE IT ?????

SOMEBODY ELSE SAID CHECK PARTS FOR A 400.CI ENGINE....SAYING THE 425.CI CADILLAC ENGINE IS JUST A BUILT UP 400.CI ???

PLEASE HELP ??? ???

The 425 is basically a downsized and choked down, for emissions and economy, 472/500.  There is no such thing as a 400 cubic inch Cadillac engine.  You might talk to Marty at Maximum Torque Specialties (MTS) ----  http://www.500cid.com/    They are 472/500/425 Caddy engine performance specialists and can tell you what you can do depending on how much you want to spend.  You might also like to join up at the Modified Chapter of the Cadillac-LaSalle Club (MCLC) where modifications like you are asking about are more the norm.    http://www.modifiedcadillac.org/
