I have a friend who asked me to sell his Cadillac v16 engine with transmission. the engine is complete from intake to exshaust mainifold. I has been taken apart.  I took these pictures  of the engine block.  Conatact me at 229-269-3541 or e-mail me at panama1989@yahoo.com

What is the engine number?  It's under the bumperette (move the bumper).  It should be 7 digits with perhaps a leading or trailing "star".  Also don't see any cylinder heads, valve covers, carburetors, generator, water pump, etc.  Are they there?  What is missing?  Where is engine located?  Thanks.

What year is it?

What's the name of that guy that posts on this board who has a '38 V16 with a Chevy engine? Now might be his chance to set it right.

I took this picture thinking there was only the engine block. I'm selling this for an older gentelman nad he said that the complete engine with transmission is located under his work bench. He was not there when I took the pictures of the cars I sold for him.

That guy already bought two v16s.

I sent an email to Tom something -or- other who has that 1938 V16 with a Chevy 350 in it. This would be the perfect opportunity to obtain the proper engine and tranny at a reasonable price. Granted it will cost a good bit to put right but if it takes him 10 or 20 years he'll at least have the correct drive train.

I haven't heard back from him yet. I hope he gets my email or checks this board soon.

The engine is for a 1930-37 V16.  Won't fit in a '38-40 - too tall, too long, etc.

I would totally buy that if I could find one in that price range, it would be great to make my car correct.  Where is this guy located?  Maybe I will buy it and hold it ransom to trade for a 38-40 motor.

I took the car for a cruise Saturday with some friends to downtown Ventura.  Great weather here and no worries about wear and tear on my current motor.

You might want to update this, Joe. Originally you told me $3500. When I countered, you told me:

I currently have an offer of $10.000 for the engine. We are waiting until the end of the month to decide on any offer thanks  JOE

You might want to let these guys know if it's for sale or not.
