Please view the post in the Forum Support forum, it has a poll about making a dark mode (i.e. dark color screens instead of bright white) available. This can be of interest for those that access the forums from a mobile device as dark screens use less battery power. But we need to know whether enough people want this before investing the time to install an extra mode.

I have a quite nice full set of 1937 full size hubcaps on my 37-60 series coupe. 16 inch of course. I would prefer the small hubcaps with the trim rings. Willing to trade for small set in similar condition, or does anyone know of anyone producing the small caps?

Thanks;  Jim Stamper, Grantham, NH          dstamp4@comcast.net

Sorry to tell you Jim I don't think anyone is making these small ones now, they used to be made by McVeys but when I wanted mine I was told they were discontinued because of no demand and I had to have the full size ones, not too much of a problem now because I have since found from my cars build sheet it came with full size as an option when new.

Thanks Steve, you have validated my suspicions that no one is making the small hubcaps. Maybe some nice used ones will turn up.

Hello Jim... My friend and fellow CLC member from Australia,  Robert Mitchell is having a couple of sets of the small (10" dia.) hub caps restored in Sydney and will be sending them to me to make them available to US club members shortly. He sent me a set a couple of months ago that went on Marshall Krause's just completed 1940 LaSalle Series 50 Coupe that looked great. I'll advise you when they arrive. Bruce
