Flexable Wire in 56 Distributor

Hi,

Inside of my 56 distributor, there is a about 3 inches of super flexible brown cloth (cotton?) covered wire that connects to the plate.

I have a non Caddy related project that requires many feet of something like this type of wire (super flexible cloth covered wire - white would be best as I could dye it).  I am looking for a source - any ideas?
