Hi:

I am having a hard time understanding how the 1940 battery tray in my series 62 coupe has to look like. It goes in the interior compartment floor, just ahead of the front seat. My car had a home made one, terrible, and I trying to do a decent one, but it would of course help a lot if I could have a picture of one.

Same thing for the battery lid, missing in my car. It seems it is a complex lid, in the sense of having several curves and marked channels to follow the contour of the car's floor.

Would anybody have some pictures that could send me? My email address is vmilkeg at paniplus.com.mx

Better still: Anybody might have a battery lid which they would be willing to sell?

Thanks,
V.Milke

Wow, got the exact same problem with a 40-5019 I'm working on. Been asking around forum looking for battery box and lid but not got very far. If you come across a supplier for these parts, please post or email me at medlocks4@comporium.net. Thanks
