Correct color of door wire loom cover/protector

Hi, does anyone know for certain the correct color of the door wire loom covers/protectors (between the hinges) on a 1958 four door cadillac (sedan de ville  or Fleetwood Sixty Special). They are either body color or black satin.Please chime in. Thank you.
