Looking for a little point in the right direction. Looking to swap my leeking old water pump for a Reconditioned.
Would like to get everything ready  for a clean and quick swap.
Anyone out there know the sizes/specs of the fasteners required for the water pump and thermostat housing?

Have your water pump rebuilt.  There are a couple of options available if you search the forum for people/vendors that will do a great job.  Note the bolts as they come out for location and where they go.  They will be different length's and it matters when you reinstall, so make sure they go back the same way when you put it back together.  Take some photos as you take it apart so you can check as you put it back together if you need to refresh your memory when the time comes.

For the thermostat, get the correct temperature, and just make sure it's placed in the right position if you think the one you have needs replacing, otherwise, use the one you have with a new gasket.

If you do a search on eBay you'll find several vendors who offer 100% brand new water pumps for the 390 for about $40 more than reconditioned.  For my money, I'd go new, but that's just me.

Here is one such example:
