1958 Hood Crest Bezels Finish

    I assume the Bezels are aluminum, are they gold plated or gold anodized ? Thanks for the help !

Gold anodized is correct.

The repops are gold plated,  not anodized,  so they're authentically incorrect. 

For some reason,  the gold seems to fade on the hood crests.  It was the only piece I had to have redone on the '57.

I've yet to see any reproductions get it correct.  They are only original once!  Should not be rocket science to replicate, but no one has to-date!
