Hello,
I am about to install a set of correct horns on my '37 Cad 75/85 series sedan and need to know how they should be positioned. If I mount them to replace the ones now there, then the new horns will face the driver - is this correct or should the bell face the radiator?
Thank you,

I guess a better question is what are the correct horns for a '37 Cad V12. The horns presently on the car are small or shorts having the round bowle behind the horn. The two new horns I want to install are one short and one long having stems and the bowle on one end and a horn on the other end. What horns are correct for the V12 engine. There does not seem to be room for the horns facing the driver. Could someone send a photo of the correct horns installed on a '37 85 series V12 sedan?

Here is the only picture of the horns I could find in the shop 37 manual.

Hope it helps.

Thank you but I think the photo is of a V8 having the central air cleaner. See the attached photo and can you tell me if these are for the V12 and if so are they presented correctly? If so, when attached to the car the horns would face the driver and there is no room on my cngine for the horns would be very close to the exhaust crossover facing the driver. Thanks.

Notice the taper angle on the ends of the mounting brackets used to attach to the radiator/firewall rods. Maybe I have the incorrect unit on my car for the horn tube brackets face the firewall and that would cause the horns to face the driver on my car.

I dont understand you Ty, that angle on the bracket is correct for the horns to face forward???

That is the problem. I don't know what year my original horns are and the bracket is reversed. So that is why I wondered if the horns should face to the rear. So, the answer is no, I have the wrong bracket and the horns should face to the front. A correct bracket is now on the way to me as shown in the photo.
Many thanks for your responses.
