???  Just learned about my job relocating to Charlotte area next year. Wondering if there are any members willing to provide some local advice about traffic patters (i want a reverse commute), local town characteristics, churches, and of course access to automotive folks for our 4 vintage cars.

Thanks folks!!!!

Check with this chapter at this link.  They may know if there is a group closer to Charlotte.  Not everyone reads the same posts on this forum so someone from there may never see your post depending on their question interest :)

I live a half hour south of Charlotte, NC for the past 40 years. I can tell you where all the accidents occur and where the interstates clog up via the traffic report I listen to each morning. I work in Rock Hill, SC, across the state line from Charlotte, so I never experience the fun of Charlotte rush hour driving.

Dear Jeff,

Good Evening!

I've been forwarded your mail by our Jason Edge, and I live and work in the South Charlotte area.  I have lived in Charlotte for nearly 14 years and am VERY familiar with its ins/outs.  Give me a call when you have time.

Still too, there is a nice storage facility for our cars that might be useful before you get finally settled.  http://www.autobarnclassiccars.com

Several good mechanics in the area that I know and use as well.

Best regards,
